UCOR continues to grow its commitment to behavioral and mental health. After developing a wellness program focused on the issue, our Navigate program, we are making additional steps to help our workforce deal with issues that impact their behavioral and mental health. You’ll be hearing more about those over the coming weeks.
In our community, we have joined with three of our teaming partners, RSI, Strata-G, and Longenecker and Associates with an important donation. Together, we have committed $645,000 over a 5-year period to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. That donation will make it possible for Children’s Hospital to hire two full-time behavioral care clinician at their Oak Ridge Pediatrics facility. It will also enable them to purchase new technology and offer mental health outreach education and first aid. Oak Ridge Pediatrics facility will be the first primary care location in the Children’s Hospital network to offer behavioral health care and UCOR is so proud to help make that happen.
