Since 2011, UCOR has served as DOE’s prime contractor for environmental cleanup at East Tennessee Technology Park—the former Oak Ridge Gaseous Diffusion Plant—and select other sites on the Oak Ridge Reservation. With major cleanup activities completed at ETTP, UCOR’s work has now expanded to major cleanup activities at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the Y-12 National Security Complex. As a DOE Voluntary Protection Star site—the highest safety designation for a DOE site—we make safety a prerequisite to all that we do.
Cleanup missions on the Oak Ridge Reservation focus on protection of people and the environment and enabling current and future science and national security programs. We achieve these goals by reducing risks and eliminating hazards.
Our work scope on the ORR includes demolition, remediation, and operational support.
