The new iteration of UCOR, a partnership of Amentum, Jacobs, and Honeywell, began under a new contract with the Department of Energy (DOE) Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management in May 2022. Under this and our previous contract (2011-2022), UCOR safely deactivates and demolishes former nuclear facilities. As the lead cleanup contractor for DOE’s Oak Ridge Reservation, we have earned a reputation for safe performance, innovative problem solving, and an unwavering focus on excellence. Our workforce of nearly 2,000 is committed to the mission of protecting the people, the community, and the environment while eliminating hazards and reducing risks. Our leadership team brings together individuals with vast experience in the engineering and environmental industries, including experience working in the DOE complex.
UCOR is a partnership of Amentum, Jacobs, and Honeywell that combines the talents of three global program management companies. Our small business partners include RSI EnTech, LLC, Strata-G, LLC, Longenecker & Associates, Inc. (L&A) and Environmental Alternatives, Inc. (EAI) – all firms with previous Oak Ridge Reservation environmental cleanup experience and a proven track record of delivering strong performance.

Employees and management are dedicated to UCOR’s Zero Injury Philosophy, which is based on the concept that all injuries are preventable. We are recognized as a Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star site—achieving DOE’s highest level status. This designation is given only to the safest operations in the DOE complex.
