Congratulations to Waste Packaging Specialists David Ferrell and Glenn Parks who received the TeamsCount Award. The two demonstrated exemplary attention to detail during the consolidation of waste from the 3026 A Cell deactivation. Their meticulous inspection of a B-25 box containing bagged PPE led to the discovery and subsequent removal of a “Heart Monitor Watch.” This item, prohibited under the specified disposal profile, was identified and addressed, thereby preventing a potential violation of the waste acceptance criteria for the offsite facility.
Their proactive intervention highlights the critical importance of thoroughness in our waste packaging processes and reinforces UCOR’s steadfast dedication to compliant waste disposition. The efforts of David and Glenn serve as a testament to the professionalism and vigilance of our teams.
We commend David and Glenn for their outstanding work and congratulate them on this well-deserved award. This achievement reflects the collective commitment of UCOR
