Representatives from UCOR and OREM participated in Roane Alliance’s Roane County Combined Career Day at Harriman High School this week. The event provided exposure to future career options and featured industry booths, hands-on demonstrations, and outdoor activities for more than 950 high school and middle school students across 10 different Roane County schools. UCOR partners East Tennessee Apprenticeship Readiness Program (ETARP), Laborers’ International Union of North America, and Roane State Community College were on hand to further discuss local training and education opportunities in preparation for Oak Ridge Reservation careers.
