UCOR Property Management must complete an annual 100% physical property inventory. Material clerks will be coming by offices in the coming weeks to scan the barcodes on your property.
To achieve this inventory in a timely manner, all members of the workforce should go into their PRISM accounts as soon as possible and verify that their property has the correct location listed. A lot of moves have taken place over the past few months, so please verify that your property is where it is listed in PRISM.
If you have laptops, iPads, or any other property located somewhere other than your office (i.e., at home), please bring those items in so that they can be scanned.
If you have questions, please call Anthony Wilhoit (865-360-3949) or Nate Smith (865-617-7775).
In addition to the annual physical inventories campaign, clerks will be adding US DOE stickers to office furniture such as chairs, tables, desks, filing cabinets, etc. This directive stems from 41 CFR 109-1.5105 Identification marking of personal property.
*Note* Non-government property shall not be installed in, affixed to, or otherwise made a part of government owned property. This includes, but is not limited to, chairs, tables, speakers, etc.
