Latest update video highlights UCOR’s recent progress

UCOR has made a lot of progress on the Oak Ridge Reservation during the past several weeks, as detailed in the video. Over 325,000 square feet are officially cleared to be reused for future national security missions at the Y-12 National Security Complex. UCOR’s D&D crews are continuing to reduce risk at ORNL’s Isotope Row by removing and packaging a process off-gas line, using a 110-ton crane to remove pipe bridges and radiological filter houses. Crews installed new structural screens at the White Oak Embayment Sediment Retention Structure (SRS), a significant effort to provide a long-term solution following repairs made over last Thanksgiving and early January.
