The email addresses for DOE’s Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management (OREM) are changing. The format firstname.lastname@orem.doe.gov is changing to firstname.lastname@doe.gov (orem has been removed). Please begin using the new email format immediately to ensure continued communication without interruption.
As part of this change, please remember to review and update any recurring meetings you have scheduled with the DOE OREM staff to reflect their new email addresses. Additionally, check and correct any auto-populated emails in the “To” field in Outlook to make sure the new address format is being used. Keeping these updated will prevent missed messages and scheduling issues.
Also, since this is a domain change, if you have rules setup around this domain, you should change them.
