Alpha-2 demo start draws near.

Crews at Y-12 Alpha-2 are getting down to the wire doing prep work to start demolition on the main Alpha-2 Fusion Energy facility. Part of this prep work included removing transite panels on two “dog houses” on the north low bay roof and universal and hazardous waste. They have also completed pouring 30,600 cubic yards of concrete across the site.
