A big change in UCOR Hub that launches Thursday is that it no longer has the A-Z directory at the top of the page. However, the new site has a robust search engine. With keywords, you can search for people, spaces, and content. In the graphic below, you can see that a search for ORNL returned multiple items. The content team has been working hard over the last two months to add and tag content so that the search engine will find it.
As with anything new, there are likely to be a few bugs to work out. One of those will be to ensure users can find what they are searching for. Users search for things in different ways, using different words or phrases. That’s why we have created a Q&A space on the site for you to tell us when you can’t find things. When you do, be sure to tell us what words you used in the search bar so that we can then go in and add those as tags to the content so you and others can more easily find it the next time.
