UCOR Emergency Services has developed an Emergency Actions Guide to provide response recommendations for a wide variety of threats and hazards. In the event of a flash flood, UCOR ‘s Emergency Management Program recommends the following notes to keep you safe.
There are many do’s and don’ts when a flash flood takes place. However, doing things like staying in your car, getting on the roof if trapped in a building, signaling for help, and reporting the incident will help get you through the situation.
The full Emergency Actions Guide is available on the Emergency Services space on the UCOR Hub. Facility-specific protective action instructions are found on the Emergency Action Plan wall postings.
