UCOR is excited to participate in Second Harvest Food Bank’s annual Double Your Donation Day today.
Make your gift before midnight tonight and it will be matched by generous friends of Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee. A $1 donation doubles to help provide six meals, $5 doubles to fill 30 plates, and $10 doubles to help bring 60 meals to seniors and neighbors who may otherwise go without during the holidays and winter months.
Donations can be made online by clicking here. On the form, click the box that designates “Make this gift on behalf of an organization” and type “UCOR Workforce” in the box for Organization Name.
For the 2025-26 school year, UCOR sponsored the Food for Kids backpack program in Anderson County, as well as the Ridge View Elementary School pantry. The UCOR workforce also has supported the Food for Kids program through our summer interns’ community outreach project, “Pack the Van,” which brought in over 6,000 food items and several hundred dollars in monetary donations. In the last eight years, UCOR’s sponsorship has provided meals for over 800 children in Anderson and Roane County schools.
