The Groundhogs LSIT team at 100 Union Valley identified recommendations to enhance safety in the parking lots at the cleanup campus.
The facilities and safety team worked quickly to implement the suggestions, including repainting crosswalks and installing new speed bumps at 701 Scarboro, 90 Union Valley, and 100 Union Valley.
The responsiveness to the requested issues was noted via a Positive Swift Observation Capture (SOC) by employees on site, recognizing the fast turnaround and quality of the job.
An LSIT’s goal is to identify safety issues across the reservation and to respond to employees’ SOCs as fast as possible. SOCs are not only used to identify hazards, but also to recognize the great work we do here at UCOR to keep a well-maintained worksite.
Thank you to the facilities and safety team for your great work!
