Sophia Kim of Fairfax, Virginia, expects to graduate from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2027 with a degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in art. This summer she is working as an engineering intern. Sophia has previous experience with autonomous transportation and systems as an intern with Leidos. She enjoys bouldering, pottery, tennis, and wake surfing in her free time. Sophia hopes to learn as much as possible, meet new people, and make a positive impact here at UCOR.
Andrew King of Evensville, Tennessee, expects to graduate from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in May 2029 with a degree in electrical engineering. This summer he is working as an engineering intern. Andrew has previous experience with La-Z-Boy Manufacturing working on efficiency and productivity. In his spare time, Andrew likes to play volleyball, pickleball, golf, and hike. He looks forward to gaining more experience in the industry and building strong connections.
