Our 5th annual Parking Lot Safety Rodeo will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., April 22. We are bringing you the local Sheriff’s drug take-back program.
The Sheriff’s drug take-back program is a public safety initiative where local law enforcement agencies provide safe and anonymous ways to get rid of medications that are:
- Unused
- Unwanted
- Expired (prescription and over the counter)
Initiatives like the drug take-back program help prevent abuse and theft, protect the environment, and are safe disposal methods with no questions asked.
Before disposal, here are some things you need to know:
- Do not dispose of injectables, needles, or IV solutions.
- Scratch off all personal information on the bottle before disposal.
The official list of activities is on UCOR’s PLSR 2026 Info | Safety & Health Programs Hub page.
