UCOR, along with small business teaming partner Strata-G, cosponsored Tennessee Tech’s College of Engineering annual “Professionals in Training: Networking Dinner” last week. The event, attended by approximately 150 students and 60 faculty, alumni, and industry partners, serves as the “learning lab” in which students learn soft skills/business dinner etiquette with training from the College of Business.
Chris Caldwell and Shannon Potter with Strata-G’s Tim Hale and Dan Matthews served as evaluators at the event, observing and assessing the students’ engagement throughout the dinner. Evaluator feedback helps students refine essential skills as they prepare for their future careers.
