The waste management team at the East Tennessee Technology Park (ETTP) Heritage Center recently received the TeamsCount award from senior leadership. This recognition comes after a Department of Energy (DOE) audit identified a single strength on the final emerging issues form, specifically crediting the ETTP waste management team.
The audit report stated, “Waste management personnel at ETTP are thoroughly trained in regulatory requirements and required topics going beyond typical training requirements.” This commendation highlights the team’s deep understanding and application of critical protocols.
This achievement not only reinforces the overall effectiveness of the UCOR program but also specifically celebrates the ETTP Heritage Center waste management team. Their dedication and strict adherence to established processes truly exemplify the program’s commitment to excellence.
