Have you ever wondered how work gets safely executed on the Oak Ridge Reservation? Well now, you can see how the Work Control team have been focusing on continuous improvement efforts the past six months to safely improve performance across the reservation. Months of collaboration, feedback from craft and support groups, and careful consideration led to enhancements in the work instructions, JHAs, and permits and plans used to safely complete work in the field.
Work control documents are easier to change when needed on the spot, based on the needs required while executing scope to safely complete what’s in front of crews. Watch the video to learn more about how the work control and safety teams made this effort into UCOR’s new reality.
