UCOR representatives were part of the Oak Ridge Corridor Development Corporation’s luncheon today with U.S. Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-Tenn.) at the Oak Ridge Conference Center. U.S. Rep. Chuck Fleischmann (3rd-Tenn.), regional elected officials, and business leaders attended. Hagerty discussed visiting ETTP to tour Kairos Power’s Hermes 1 demonstration reactor now under construction on property cleaned up by UCOR. He emphasized Oak Ridge’s continued global leadership role in national security, commercial nuclear energy, and AI and scientific advancement.
