UCOR has been awarded the 2026 EPEAT Purchaser Award by the Global Electronics Council for leadership in responsible electronics procurement. EPEAT is a globally recognized ecolabel for electronics that evaluate a product’s environmental impact throughout its lifecycle. By choosing EPEAT-registered products, UCOR helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, conserve energy, and minimize waste.
UCOR’s commitment to environmental stewardship is exemplified by its purchase of 962 EPEAT-registered products in 2025, including gold certified laptops and monitors that resulted in cost savings of $30,583. This is the tenth time UCOR received the EPEAT award and the first time being recognized in three categories: Computers and Displays, Imaging Equipment, and Servers.
UCOR’s Environmental Management System (EMS) program through its Pollution Prevention and Waste Minimization practices is committed to raising continual awareness, promoting a circular economy, and procuring EPEAT products. Many thanks to our IT and Supply Chain Management organizations that support procurement practices that help minimize impacts to the environment.
