UCOR participated in the 3rd annual Roane County High School (RCHS) Alumni Career Fair last Friday. The fair came about as way to give students exposure to industry options while also providing an opportunity to meet alumni and learn about what inspired them to choose their career paths, and share education and experience required for that field. UCOR’s booth included representatives from safety, engineering, communications, human resources, fire protection, data management, and waste management. Representatives from UCOR teaming partner Strata-G also attended the event, with a representative from the UCOR contract.
UCOR team members were among 70 RCHS alumni representing nearly 40 entities, including ORNL, Y-12, Roane State Community College, and TVA, at the fair. Attended by more than 600 students, the fair provided an opportunity for UCOR to promote the pathways to a career through our university partnerships.
