What is a floater holiday?
A floating holiday is a paid day off that empowers you to choose when you take your time. We are introducing floating holidays to give you the flexibility to observe personal milestones, cultural celebrations, religious occasions, or other meaningful events that fall outside the standard holiday schedule.
How to use your floating holidays:
- Advance Planning: Similar to PTO, floating holidays should be scheduled in advance and approved by your supervisor before taking the time off.
- Operational Balance: To support work priorities and team coverage, supervisors may occasionally work with employees to reschedule a floating day if needed.
(Note: Building Trades craft holidays will continue to be observed in accordance with the Project Labor Agreement.)
