It’s World Quality Week—a time to recognize the professionals who ensure UCOR’s work is safe, compliant, and done right the first time. Our Quality team is embedded across every project and functional area, supporting everything from field inspections and software assurance to supplier oversight and nonconformance resolution.
Whether deployed to projects as Quality Engineers and Inspectors or matrixed as Software Quality Assurance experts, these professionals bring deep technical knowledge, independence, and leadership to every task. They uphold regulatory and contractual quality assurance requirements, manage critical programs like Suspect/Counterfeit Item prevention, and support software lifecycle compliance. They help UCOR maintain the highest standards of performance and integrity.
Importantly, DOE OREM’s most recent QA audit recognized the positive trajectory of UCOR’s Quality Program, noting improvements in implementation, integration, and oversight. This reflects the value our QA professionals bring every day — not just ensuring compliance, but enabling mission success through proactive support, risk reduction, and continuous improvement.
During World Quality Week, we thank them for their dedication, expertise, and the essential role they play in UCOR’s success.
