A new member of UCOR’s General Counsel team, Matt McGinley, was recently recognized by the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) for his role in a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Task Force.
While serving as Assistant United States Attorney in New Mexico, McGinley served as lead prosecutor on the DEA Albuquerque Task Force Initiative, which included DEA agents, tribal police, and local law enforcement.
The Task Force traced the Salazar Drug Trafficking Organization across five states and made the largest fentanyl seizure in DEA history. As a result, McGinley and the team were presented the 2026 Investigation Award. Their efforts led to the seizure of 3.5 million pills and $5.4 million in currency.
Congratulation to Matt on the award. UCOR is fortunate to have him on our legal team.
