UCOR is pleased to announce that beginning with the 2026 plan year, employees will have the opportunity to elect new Voluntary Benefits through UNUM during annual enrollment. Elections made during annual enrollment will take effect on Jan. 1, 2026. Annual enrollment will be held from Oct. 27 – Nov. 7, 2025.
Voluntary Benefits (New for 2026)
Critical Illness Insurance
- $20,000 cash benefit paid directly to the employee upon diagnosis of a covered condition (such as stroke, heart attack, end-stage renal failure, organ transplant, bypass surgery, or brain tumor)
- Coverage applies only to conditions diagnosed after the effective date (no pre-existing conditions)
- Includes a $50 annual wellness benefit
- Four-year rate guarantee
- Premiums based on age bands
Accident Insurance
- Provides cash benefits directly to employees for covered expenses related to an accident (including ER visits, urgent care, physician/PT visits, fractures, X-rays, medical equipment, ambulance, stitches, and hospitalization)
- Coverage applies to accidents occurring after the effective date
- Includes a $50 annual wellness benefit
- Four-year rate guarantee
- Premiums available for Employee, Employee + Spouse, Employee + Children, and Family coverage
