In preparation for the launch of UCOR’s new Oracle Learning Management System (LMS) through Project Paragon, the current LEARN system will close to users at the close of business on Monday, Oct. 19. To maintain workforce preparedness and stay up-to date on training, all computer-based training due through November 12 should be completed by Sept. 30, allowing the project team time to transfer your data to the new system.
Throughout October, the Paragon team and UCOR’s Training & Development Program will be transferring training data into the new Oracle LMS system. To ensure your training is transferred to the new system successfully and give the project team time to transfer all training data, completing training by Sept. 30 is necessary. You will be able to access the new LMS system on Oct. 26.
The project team is also asking for the workforce to complete all trainings that are due from now to Nov. 12. Since this LMS system is being deployed for the first time at UCOR, the project team wants to allow room for possible interruptions. Getting your training done early ensures you are prepared for work and not hindered by possible technical difficulties that could cause your training to become overdue.
Check your LEARN immediately and plan how you will complete all your scheduled computer-based training that are due from now to Nov. 12. The Sept. 30 date for completing training applies to the entire workforce, including subcontractors.
