Taking care of your mental wellbeing is just as important as taking care of your physical health. Whether you are looking for ways to improve your overall wellbeing, navigating a difficult season, or dealing with stress at work or home, UCOR’s Mental Wellbeing Center is here to support you.
As part of Thrive, the Mental Wellbeing Center provides you with free, onsite consultation, counseling, and referral services designed to help employees navigate life’s challenges and build the skills needed to live healthier, more sustainable lives.
Support does not have to begin with a crisis. The Mental Wellbeing Center can help employees with a wide range of needs, including personal development, emotional wellness, relationship concerns, grief, stress, and mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, or PTSD. Employees can also receive consultation, coaching, counseling, education, and referrals to additional resources when needed.
Lead counselor Kenneth Williams, LPC, MHSP brings more than 30 years of counseling experience across diverse settings. A U.S. Air Force veteran who began his career as a physicist before becoming a mental health counselor, Williams is passionate about helping employees work through challenges and improve their overall wellbeing.
Most importantly, employees can seek support with confidence. Services provided through the Mental Wellbeing Center are completely confidential. Neither your visits nor anything you speak about can be shared with anyone without your consent. The only legal exceptions to this are threats to harm self or someone else, threats to national security, suspected abuse or neglect to a vulnerable person, or a court subpoena. All of your information remains confidential and protected within the Mental Wellbeing Center. It is not shared with Human Resources, Labor Relations, or Health Services without your consent.
Thrive is about providing resources that support the whole person—physically and mentally—so employees can be at their best at work and at home. You do not have to wait until something becomes overwhelming to reach out. Whether you need help navigating a challenge, want to strengthen your mental wellbeing, or simply need someone to talk to, the Mental Wellbeing Center is here to help you navigate life so you can thrive.
