To meet DOE requirements, the Dosimetry Department must have all red 3rd quarter 2026 dosimeters returned by close of business Oct. 8.
If you are going to be gone the last week of September 2026 and/or first week of October 2026, leave your 3rd quarter dosimeter with your project dosimetry point of contact or the Dosimetry Office located at 100 Union Valley. You can pick up your orange 4th quarter dosimeter when you return.
Workers may be restricted from entering radiological areas managed by UCOR for failing to return their previous quarter dosimeter by the deadline.
If you have workers that are out for short-term disability, please contact the Dosimetry office at UCORDosimetry@orcc.doe.gov as soon as possible so we can send them mailers to return their dosimeters early. Individuals issued a dosimeter are responsible for ensuring their dosimeters are exchanged at the beginning of every quarter (i.e., the first business day of the quarter).
If you have not been contacted for dosimetry distribution by the third business day of the new quarter, contact your project management, Field Radiological Protection Manager, or UCOR Dosimetry personnel at UCORDosimetry@orcc.doe.gov about exchanging your dosimeter.
