The biennial take cover drill is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, February 18, at 2:30 p.m. for the Cleanup Campus (90 Union Valley Road, 100 Union Valley Road, 105 Mitchell Road, 701 Scarboro Road), Bear Creek Valley (EMWMF), and ETTP/Heritage Center (K-1036 and K-1310 LM & RU).
All UCOR workforce personnel and visitors present at these facilities will be expected to participate in the drill. The drill does not include personnel working in the field, at ORNL or Y-12, or at 1916-T2/T3.
The drill will be initiated by UCOR mass notification. Personnel should immediately leave their work area and proceed to the take cover location as identified by the posted facility Emergency Action Plan. The drill will last approximately 15 minutes.
