A more active weather pattern will set up this evening into Wednesday with multiple waves of showers and storms. The first round of storms will move across areas northeast of Knoxville between 4 and 7 p.m. today, bringing heavy rainfall and high wind to a few communities. A few of those storms may clip Knox, Sevier, Blount, and Cocke counties. An additional round of scattered storms will push through between midnight and 6 a.m. Wednesday morning with potential high wind and heavy rain/lightning. Hot, humid weather is ahead for the next several days, with temperatures in the 90s and feels-like temperatures well past 100 degrees.
