The UCOR Quality organization is alerting staff to a recent Government-Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP) Agency Action Notice (AAN-U-2026-0052) concerning potentially nonconforming fastener hardware from IBIDE Corporation.
Multiple fastener components delivered under government contracts have been identified as deficient, with the full extent of affected parts still under investigation. Key deficiencies include missing manufacturer markings, incorrect materials, improper finishes, and incorrect mechanical features.
Affected Part Numbers Include:
- P/N 3M891-4 – Nut, Plain, Slotted, Hexagon (NSN: 5310-00-400-5470)
- P/N 92197-14-61 – Bolt, Machine (NSN: 5306-01-298-7332)
- P/N E0104-428 – Nut, Self-Locking, Extended Washer, Double Hexagon (NSN: 5310-00-800-6994)
- P/N GYN1810 – Nut, Self-Locking, Extended Washer, Double Hexagon (NSN: 5310-00-123-2499)
Required Actions:
- Review inventories, ongoing work, and installed hardware for these part numbers.
- Segregate any identified material immediately and prevent further use.
- Notify UCOR Quality and initiate appropriate internal reporting procedures.
