Your Group Accident Insurance provides a set benefit amount for injuries from accidents, while your Group Critical Illness Insurance offers a lump-sum payment if you are diagnosed with a covered illness.
Don’t forget your annual “Be Well” benefit! Both your Critical Illness and Accident plans each provide a $50 benefit for completing a covered “Be Well” screening for you and your covered family members. Examples of covered screenings include annual physicals, cancer screenings like pap smears, and cholesterol checks. To claim this benefit, you must provide your full name, policy number or Social Security number, and details about the test, including the name, date, physician, and facility.
