UCOR’s 5th annual Parking Lot Safety Rodeo returns tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., bringing hands-on demonstrations, safety engagement, and opportunities to connect with the workforce, resources, and vendors.
With warm weather expected, employees are encouraged to wear sunscreen. UCOR will provide water as well as bags for purchases and merchandise.
Transportation will be available at off-site locations to bring crews in, and carpooling is recommended.
This year’s rodeo features interactive demonstrations, including guided vehicle rides with instructors to enhance driver awareness, as well as an E-Bike safety demonstration. Employees can also take advantage of Elliott’s Boots, so be sure to bring your boot vouchers.
Food trucks will be on site providing coffee, burgers, pork, and tacos.
There will also be multiple giveaway opportunities. A highlight is a scavenger hunt-style punch card—visit seven designated vendors and demonstrations for a chance to win a Solo Stove.
