Thanks to all those who attended today’s Parking Lot Safety Rodeo. Approximately 700 people attended, the largest turnout in the event’s five-year history. Attendees got to enjoy UCOR initiatives like the UCOR Connection groups, LSITs, Fidelity, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee, Mental Wellbeing Center, Training, and Wellness, reminding the workforce of the resources we always have on hand.
The rodeo had vendors across all disciplines of safety, including fire protection, fall protection, fitness, prescription drug take-back, safety equipment, and more.
Participants also got to interact with different aspects of vehicle safety, including a blind spot demonstration, a 360-degree walkaround, a chance to sit in an excavator to see blind spots in equipment. They were able to interact with a dump truck and even an E-Bike!
Thank you to everyone who put together the event. If you have any feedback, please email Jay Hocutt. Watch the highlights video here.
