Mary Alice Douglass has been selected to serve as UCOR’s Administrative Services and Human Resources Director, reporting to Senior Vice President of Administrative and Business Services Larry Ling. She previously served as Human Resources Manager. That role is now combined with the Administrative Services Manager role after the former manager, Jill Demella, moved into a new role with the company. Mary Alice has a long history in Oak Ridge, working for the predecessor cleanup contractor in various positions before transitioning to UCOR when it took over the contract in 2011.
In her new role, she is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and strategy for the effective management of human capital programs. She has oversight of the benefits, human resources, labor relations, and administrative professional services organizations and is responsible for staffing, employee relations, compensation, benefits, morale and motivation, talent development, and labor relations and labor standards administration.
