Olivia Wheelock of Knoxville, Tennessee graduated this May from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a degree in environmental and soil science and a minor in sustainability and watershed. She is working as an environmental compliance intern. Olivia has previous experience with Microbial Insights, UT Gardens, and as a botany and soil microbiology lab assistant. In her free time, Olivia likes to hike, garden, paddleboard, and play piano. She looks forward to gaining experience in stormwater management, cleanup, and environmental regulation.
Nolan Whitney of Annapolis, Maryland, expects to graduate from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in May 2027 with a degree in business analytics and a minor in information management. This is Nolan’s second summer working at UCOR as a data analytics intern. Outside of work, Nolan is interested in sports, planes, and dogs. He hopes to gain additional experience in dashboarding and querying this summer.
