Angel Peterson of Cedar Hill, Tenn., expects to graduate from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, in December 2025 with a master’s degree in environmental science. This summer she is supporting waste programs as an intern. Angel has previous experience with Green Steps and Volkswagen Chattanooga. In her free time, Angel is interested in political science, forensics, cooking, and thrifting. She hopes to learn about RCRA & CERCLA compliance, remediation, and make strong connections with waste management mentors and professionals.
