UCOR Emergency Services has developed an Emergency Actions Guide to provide response recommendations for a wide variety of threats and hazards. In the event of an evacuation, you will be notified by ESWO, ORNL LSS, Y-12 PSS, and OROC through the mass notification system.
The biggest takeaway to remember when evacuating a building is to never use an elevator. Always use a staircase, and if you are unable to evacuate, alert facility “searchers” or coworkers to report your situation to first responders so they can help get you out.
