The Public Affairs and Stakeholder Management team are spreading orange for September’s World Hunger Action Month with shelf-stable protein donations for our Secret City of Hope food drive. UCOR has partnered with ORNL, Y-12, and ORAU to host the food drive in support of Second Harvest Food Bank’s advocacy efforts for our East Tennessee neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
Be a Hunger Action Hero today by donating items such as canned tuna, chicken, spam, and beans (along with peanut butter and sunflower butter) during our Secret City of Hope food drive. Please do not submit items in glass containers. You can also contribute a monetary donation via UCOR’s SHFB link: Virtual Food Drive: HAM’25 – Team – Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee. The drive ends Monday, Sept. 22.
