In coordination with National Fire Prevention Month, the annual evacuation drill for 1916-T2 and 1916-T3 (as part of the Federal Building Complex drill) is scheduled for next Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m.
The drills will be initiated by sounding the building fire alarm and public address system announcements at 1916-T2/T3. When the alarm is heard, personnel should immediately evacuate the building and proceed to the Assembly Point as identified by the posted facility Emergency Action Plan.
All UCOR workforce personnel and visitors present at these facilities will be expected to participate in the drill. Personnel should wear appropriate clothing on the day of the exercise, walk at a safe pace, and be alert for tripping hazards and uneven walking surfaces.
