UCOR Emergency Services has developed an Emergency Actions Guide to provide response recommendations for a wide variety of threats and hazards. In the event of a bomb or explosive threat, UCOR ‘s Emergency Management Program recommends the steps noted below. ESWO, ORNL LSS, Y-12 PSS, and OROC will communicate protective actions through the Mass Notification System.
If an individual threatens that a bomb or explosive will be used, stay calm. Ask as many questions as you can, including when, where, why, who, how. As soon as you can, break away and alert supervision.
