UCOR has kicked off demolition of the Oak Ridge Graphite Reactor (OGR) support facilities at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Crews began demolishing Building 3003, a fan house, on Thursday. The Graphite Reactor was built in the 1940s as part of the Manhattan Project. This is the first OGR support facility to be demolished. Also planned for demolition are Building 3002 (Filter House) and Building 3018 (Graphite Reactor Stack). View the video for more information.
