Brokk remote demolition mockup helping prepare for hot cell work

UCOR’s deactivation team at ORNL performed the final mockup of the Brokk remote demolition unit as they simulated operations to be done in hot cell A at building 3026. The remotely operated equipment allows the team to significantly increase workers’ distance from potential hazards. The unit will allow workers to conduct significant deactivation work safely outside the hot cell area. To learn more, watch the video.
