Today’s joint meeting of the Women’s and Veterans’ networks marked the first ever collaborative network meeting, and attendees gained valuable knowledge and insight from the guest speakers.
The speakers included UCOR President and Program Manager Jim Blankenhorn and Amentum Senior Vice President for Operations, Energy and Environment Cheryl Cabbil. Jim, who served as a Brigadier General in the Army, discussed how the military prepared him for his current role, including how it shaped his leadership style. Cheryl discussed her experiences advancing as a woman in what is often a male-dominated field. As many of us may recall, Cheryl once served as UCOR’s ESH&QA manager.
