This week’s focus for the Elevate Better Together Challenge is obstacles—the real-life challenges, disruptions, and moments that can make progress feel harder than expected.
Obstacles are a normal part of any change process. They don’t mean you’re failing—they simply offer information. When we recognize obstacles for what they are, we can respond with flexibility instead of frustration.
As you move through this week, consider reflecting on:
- What tends to get in my way when I’m trying to stay intentional?
- Are these obstacles internal (mindset, energy, habits) or external (time, environment, responsibilities)?
- What is one small adjustment I can make when an obstacle shows up?
Rather than trying to eliminate obstacles, focus on planning for them. Progress often comes from learning how to adapt, reset, and keep moving forward—especially on imperfect days.
If you’re participating in Better Together Challenge, this is a great week to talk openly with your partner about challenges and brainstorm solutions together. If you’re not part of the challenge, a brief pause to name obstacles can still help you move forward with greater clarity.
Obstacles don’t stop growth—how we respond to them matters most.
