The Y-12 campus covers a broad area and several facilities. This week, the Boundary Control Station (BCS) Housekeeping team at Y-12 received their TeamsCount award for their outstanding contributions to efficiency and organization maintaining these facilities.
Recent management observations highlighted the team’s meticulously maintained work areas and supply logistics. They noted the remarkable level of detail and structural integrity within their operations, ensuring all resources are readily accessible, saving valuable time, and streamlining documentation. This systematic approach fosters a highly efficient and safe environment for all cleanup personnel within the Y-12 D&D footprint.
The team’s robust systems actively mitigate potential hazards, reduce distractions, and prevent the loss or waste of supplies. This translates into tangible cost savings for both UCOR and DOE, underscoring their significant impact. The collective enthusiasm and dedication demonstrated by each team member contribute directly to the high quality of their work and impressive retention rates. Congratulations to Zachary Amerson, Lisa Babb, Heather Barger, Nushayla Basler, Sunny Brown, Steven Clark, Kwang Ye Conrad, Mary Crowe, Justin Giles, Robbin Humphrey, Carol Lay, Jessica Lowe, Christine Mozingo, Paul O’Brien, Elaine Phillips, Luzetta Rogers, and Corey Webb for their contributions to UCOR’s Culture of Excellence.
