Oak Ridge, Tenn., Jan. 19, 2012 – URS | CH2M Oak Ridge LLC (UCOR) has issued notice of intent to award staff augmentation subcontracts to 10 companies in four general categories – Administrative and Professional services; Technical services; Engineering and Support services and Waste Management and Transportation services. They are as follows:
StrataG Staffing Services – Administrative and Professional services, Technical services, Engineering and Support services
Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. – Administrative and Professional services, Technical services, Engineering and Support services
Spectra Tech Inc. – Administrative and Professional services
Value Added Solutions — Administrative and Professional services, Engineering and Support services
Transportation, Operations and Professional Services – Technical services, Engineering and Support services
Technical & Field Engineering Inc. – Engineering and Support services, Waste Management and Transportation services
Edgewater Technical Associates — Waste Management and Transportation services
Denuke Contracting Services Inc. — Waste Management and Transportation services
SA Mays LLC — Waste Management and Transportation services
Strategic Resource Alliance LLC — Waste Management and Transportation services
The subcontracts have a period of performance up to five years assuming all options are exercised. The combined total estimated not-to-exceed value of these 10 subcontracts is $45M.
UCOR is the Department of Energy’s Environmental Management contractor at the Oak Ridge Reservation. The company is responsible for deactivation and demolition of the K-25 facility at 2
ETTP, as well as other specific scopes of work at ETTP, the Y-12 National Security Site, and the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
