If you enrolled in the Group Accident and/or Critical Illness benefits during 2026 Annual Enrollment, remember that the deduction schedule is different for these benefits. While all other health and welfare benefits are deducted weekly (over 48 pay periods annually), Group Accident and Critical Illness premiums will be deducted post-tax from the first paycheck of each month. Your total Employee Deduction Per Pay Period, as indicated on your Empyrean confirmation statements, reflects weekly costs.
