This morning, senior leaders presented a TeamsCount Award to the Portable Equipment Program team. The team was recognized for working cross-functionally to stand up the much-needed program. In less than a year, the program was launched and became recognized as a best-in-class program across the DOE complex.
The program includes procuring materials, performing preventative maintenance, and transferring and/or excessing equipment. As a result of standing up this team, UCOR has already saved more than $2M.
