This week is Nurse Practitioner Week, meant to recognize the vital role of nurse practitioners in healthcare and in our workforce to keep our people mission ready.
UCOR has five nurse practitioners dedicated to the well-being of the workforce: Amy Brummett, April Freeman, Tausha Mott, Lindsey Hatfield, and Kimberly Olsen.
This group specializes in preventing work-related injuries and illnesses, ensuring compliance with occupational health regulations, and promoting and maintaining health and safety for our workforce.
Each day, UCOR nurse practitioners conduct fitness evaluations, perform injury and illness evaluations, advise employees on preventative health and wellness measures, and conduct assessments of employees’ health and fitness. They ensure new hires are healthy enough to perform specific job roles at UCOR.
UCOR’s nurse practitioners play a critical role in UCOR’s mission. Their dedication to the safety and wellbeing of employees makes them the heart of our Health Services organization.
